ご挨拶
本企画は、第一線で活躍するクリエイターとTOPPANが協力して新しい印刷表現を探るプロジェクトです。技術の進化やメディアの多様化は印刷表現にも大きく影響を与え、新しい領域が次々と生まれてきています。GRAPHIC TRIALは、オフセット印刷、インクジェット、スクリーン印刷などの印刷方式と製版手法に加え、加工技術や多様なメディア表現も柔軟に取り込み、次世代の印刷表現を追求していきます。
19回目を迎えた今回のテーマは「FIND」。
慣れ親しんだいつもと変わらぬ世界でも、視点や気持ちを切り替えてみるだけで、驚くほど新鮮な切り口が見つかることがあります。
そんな斬新さに満ちた“発見”を求め、多様なジャンルで躍動する4人のクリエイターが印刷とポスターという領域に改めて向きあいました。
新しい何かを求めるこの時代、クリエイター各々の“FIND”が、観る人それぞれの“FIND”へとつながる表現をさぐっています。
What is Graphic Trial?
Graphic Trial is a project that explores new printing expressions, featuring collaborations between creators on the front lines and Toppan. The evolution of technology and the diversification of media are opening new fields in printing expression. Graphic Trial will continue to take on challenges while coordinating various printing methods and prepress techniques suchas inkjet and screen printing in addition to offset printing, and will also incorporate processing technology and various media expressions to pursue the next generation of printing expression.
It has been 19 years since this project started. The theme of 2025 is "FIND. "
Even in a world that appears the same as usual, by simply changing your viewpoint and your mindset, you can find surprisingly fresh perspectives.
In search of such innovative "FIND," four creators active in a variety of fields have once again ventured into the world of printing and posters.
In this age, when we seek something new, the four creators have sought out printing expressions that are filled with their own "FIND." These poster works are sure to inspire the viewer to their own "FIND."
