As part of efforts to advance the use of renewable energy, equipment for the generation of solar power has been installed on the roof of the B building of Toppan Decor Products Inc.’s Satte Plant. The plant is located in Satte, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and functions as one of the TOPPAN Group’s main manufacturing bases for décor materials. The equipment has been in operation since March 2023, and we hope to achieve a 282 t-CO₂ reduction in annual CO₂ emission volume by using the electrical power generated for captive consumption within the plant.
