Two Hundred Employees Take E-learning Classes for Universal Manners Test Level 3 (February 2024)

TOPPAN Inc. has arranged for its employees to take e-learning classes on level 3 of the Universal Manners Test*. The company aims to harness knowledge on universal manners to contribute to solutions for a greater range of people through its business.

The classes were held for 200 employees involved in work related to Expo 2025, sports, packaging design, décor materials design, local government services, facility design, and event operation. Taking the classes for the test enabled them to acquire knowledge and know-how in the areas of universal design (UD) and universal service, to understand the attributes and psychological characteristics of diverse people, and to learn about the right ways to provide support in everyday life and in interactions with customers.

The TOPPAN Group drives efforts to contribute to diversity and inclusion (D&I) in its business and proactively incorporates universal design when planning and developing products and services.

Based on the TOPPAN Declaration on Universal Design and TOPPAN’s Seven Principles on Universal Design, the TOPPAN Group has defined Guidelines for Universal Design to be applied to communication design and packaging design and is expanding the scope of its UD-related business in the form of D&I Solutions.
